How to play Dripline
Dripline is a daily connection puzzle. The board is full of pipe pieces, and some of them have been turned the wrong way. Your goal is to find them and turn them so that every piece forms one network connected to the water source, with no leaks.
- Tap a piece to turn it a quarter turn clockwise.
- Water flows through every piece connected to the source, so you can watch your network grow.
- The puzzle is solved when every piece is connected and no pipe end is left open, not even at the edge of the board.
- Each piece you adjust counts as one move, no matter how many times you tap it in a row. Come back to a piece later and it counts again. Finish in par or fewer moves for three stars.
Tips for solving
Use the pieces that already fit
Many pieces start in the right place. Look for pipe ends that don't meet anything: one of the two pieces there needs turning.
Start at the edges and corners
No pipe can point off the board. A corner piece often has only one position that works, and a straight piece on the edge must run along it.
Dead ends never meet
Two end pieces facing each other would form a tiny closed pair that can never reach the water, so they must point elsewhere.
Think before you turn
Because returning to a piece costs another move, work out where a piece must point before you touch it. Sure moves first, guesses last.
